ILEARN Doesn’t Measure Up

The 2010 Supreme Court decision in Citizens United v FEC unleashed money into politics that had heretofore been regulated to keep a level playing field.  This money now flows to elected officials and they return the favor by adopting policies that favor the donors and not the voters.  Lest you think this is an issue in a galaxy far away, it is affecting Hoosier education right now in wasted classroom time as well as money.  Testing companies are given “millions of dollars of state tax revenue”. . .”for seriously flawed products” such as ILEARN, according to Joan and Phil Harris.
