Indiana State Representative Doug Miller (R-Elkhart) has authored an amendment to Senate Bill 414 (originally about residential sewer systems) which would make it easier for builders like him to build on Indiana’s wetlands. His amendment would reduce even further the scarce wetlands that filter and purity our water, prevent flooding, and preserve wildlife habitat.
He is a director of the Indiana Builders Association and owner of a construction company. Among his top contributors are the Associated Builders and Contracts of Indiana/Kentucky ($6,000); Indiana Manufactured Housing Association/Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council ($3,000); and the Indiana Association of Realtors ($2,500). Money speaks volumes.
