The Indiana Senate is considering giving the voucher program $144 million over two years—nearly 40% of the total funding increase proposed for K-12 education.  Hoosiers for Quality Education (funded largely by out-of-state money) gave over a half million dollars to Indiana Republicans in 2020.  So school choice vouchers is certainly a nod to these donors.
