The General Election 5 November, 2024 could not be more important for the future of public education in our state or our country. The new ploy to take down public education where there are accountable standards that support our democracy and all of her citizens is called Education Scholarship Account(ESA), which is a thinly veiled voucher program where your education tax money the child. It could mean your tax dollars are taken from the schools charged with “the general and uniform system of common schools” in the state constitution and go to a private religious school, a charter school, or perhaps a parent with no oversight. This post elucidates the attacks from the Indiana legislators as well as Project 25.

And all these politicians have been heavily funded since the 2010 decision in Citizens United v.FEC.
