Since March 2023 RCU has been sending out monthly alerts tagged Follow the Money. Now it’s your turn. The Indiana primary election is Tuesday, May 7, 2024. It is time for you to select the slate you want to run against the opposition in November. Make a plan.
Indiana’s voting turnout record is dismal. In 2022 we were dead last; 50th out of 50 states. It’s time to remember that our way of life is not a spectator sport!
Tuesday, May 7, 2024, voters may select either a Republican or Democrat ballot since Indiana has an open primary. It doesn’t mean you have to vote for those candidates in the fall’s General Election; you may switch totally or pick and choose from either party as well as anyone running from another party. The primary this spring is for the two major political parties to ask the voters what they think about those who have filed to run as a D or an R.
But in order to vote, you must be registered—either in person by 4p.m. or online by midnight Monday, April 8, 2024.

- If you want to check your precinct and polling place, check here. Type in your address and then click on the color that’s presented. Scroll down for polling places inside the box with precinct information.
- If you want to print a sample ballot, check here. Each precinct has a different ballot because some offices change with your location. The Republican ballot choices are first, so if you want to see the Democratic ballots, start with page 169 by scrolling down finding your precinct.
